Can I get a mortgage in Czechia as a foreigner?

Yes. EU citizens can apply with no restrictions. Non-EU residents need a valid residence permit — temporary or permanent. We'll assess your eligibility in the first call and tell you which banks are the best fit.

My income is in EUR or USD — is that a problem?

Not at all. Czech banks accept foreign-currency income. They typically apply a 10–20% reduction to account for exchange rate risk. We calculate your real borrowing power upfront so there are no surprises.

What documents will I need?

Typically: passport, residence permit, employment contract or business license, salary confirmations or tax returns, and bank statements for the last 3–12 months. Some banks require certified Czech translations — we'll tell you exactly what's needed for your situation.

I don't have a long credit history in Czechia. Can I still apply?
